2018 introduced us to some of the best tablets. If you are a creative user, you don’t need to spend a fortune. A 7 Inch Tablet with a stylus will do the job. With that said, following we are going to rank the best tablets available with a stylus!
Microsoft Surface 6 (With Surface Pen)
The best got better; Surface Pro is the best Windows tablet, if not the best tablet all-around. The build quality is excellent, the display is stunning, and the processor is impressively fast. The Surface Pen and Type Cover keyboard enjoyed some improvements this year as well.
The pen is comfortable to hold and has better accuracy. It now supports 4096 pressure levels. The only issue with this tablet-stylus combo is its high price.
Apple iPad Pro (with Apple Pencil 2)
Apple dominated the Tablet marketspace for years. The iPad Pro (2018) is a nice iteration of Apples experience and expertise in mobile technology. Apple Pencil 2 underwent some design changes, and it has some impressive improvements. Better battery life, pressure sensitivity, and induction charging are a few of them.
The iPad Pro (both 11” and 12.9”) are equipped with Apple A12X SOC processors; these are the fastest processors in tablet market space. Apart from that, the iPad now features a 120HZ refresh rate with Face ID and full metal body.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 (With S Pen)
Dubbed as the best android tablet, it supports an active pen. The best thing is the S Pen comes included in the box; you don’t need to pay extra for it. The S Pen doesn’t feature a battery, but it does support 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
Although not a 7 Inch Tablet, the S4 tab features a stunning 10.5” Super AMOLED screen, a powerful processor with Android 8.1 (Oreo). It features four speakers, iris scanner and facial recognition. The build is sturdy and it can see years of use. Being a premium Android tablet, it’s on the expensive side.
Microsoft Surface Go (With Surface Pen)
A compact version of Surface 6, it’s affordable but still carries the same design and pen. It works with the same Surface Pen you get with Surface 6, something Apple should have done. The stylus is impressive, but let’s talk about the tablet.
It features full HD resolution in a 10” display. Under the hood, you will find Intel Pentium Gold Processor with 4GB-8GB RAM and 64GB-128GB SSD storage. It’s not as fast as Surface Pro 6, but it gets the job done.
iPad Air 3 (with Apple Pencil 1)
An affordable alternative of iPad Pro, it carries the premium vibe of iPad Pro but leaves the beefy components behind. For example, it doesn’t support Apple Pencil 2. You will have to use the original Apple Pencil.
The processor is A12, the same chip that powers iPhone XS. It has a nice full metal body and uses touch ID. The screen is 10.5”, which means iPad Air 3 is not a 7 Inch Tablet.
